Serena let Chuck lead her to his limo. It’s not really a bad idea to skip school. They had all done it last year. What’s the difference? ”Ugh! I can’t believe this.” Serena said, climbing inside Chuck’s limo. “Where are you taking me? I just hope no one will catch us and send this on gossip girl.”
Chuck held the door open for her and climbed in right after her. “I’m taking you to breakfast, calm down. ” he rolled his eyes, sighing. He gave directions to his driver and closed the privacy window. “It’s not like you haven’t been seen out with me before, Serena. Now, would you like a drink? i have champagne over there if you want.”

”Stop touching me, you pervert.” Serena demanded, slapping Chuck’s hand away. “I get back here because I definitely missed my best friends. I missed our partying.” She sighed dramatically. Serena’s leave was impromptu and so does her getting back here. “Just to warn you Chuck. You might want to avoid badgering with questions on why I left and why I’d return. Because I’m not going to tell it to you. You might send it to Gossip Girl. And I don’t want her screwing my life again.” Serena said. She stared eye-to-eye with Chuck, arching her eyebrow as he smirked at her.
He took in a sharp breath between his teeth, letting it out slowly. Chuck didn’t budge when Serena slapped his hand. He simply placed his hand on her shoulder, rubbing it with his thumb. “I always had a feeling you were into playing rough,” he said with a smile. “You missed our partying and you best friends? If you missed them so bad you wouldn’t have gone away for 12 months, sweetheart.” he rolled his eyes at her. “You may not tell me, but I’ll sure as hell find out soon. Now, what do you say we skip school, head back to my hotel room and work on our catching up?” he winked at her, biting down on his lip.
Serena rolled her eyes and pushed Chuck away. “I can’t skip class. This is my first day again here and I don’t want to screw it up.” Serena said, and she meant it. “Maybe we could catch up later. Along with Blair and Nate.” She offered.
He rolled his eyes again out of annoyance. Chuck noticed that a few other kids by the school were staring at them. But mostly at Serena. He laughed quietly to himself and shoved his hands into the pockets of his coat. “Catching up with Blair and Nate? That will be very interesting.” he smirked at Serena. “I need to see this.”
”Speaking of Blair and Nate. Have you seen both of them? I missed those two a lot.” Serena said. Searching the school for any signs of her best friend and her best friend’s boyfriend. But no sign of them. Instead, she saw swarms of people staring at her. Last year, she wouldn’t mind the staring. Serena guessed boarding school did change her. The stares and looks her former schoolmates and classmates gave her made her uneasy. ”Where are the love birds?” She asked Chuck.
“Why are you asking me where they are? I’m not on constant Nate and Blair watch.” he let out a huff. Though he was curious as to where Nate was. He wanted to know if Nate would skip with him. “Do they even know you’re back?” Serena was damn lucky that Chuck never told anyone, or Gossip Girl, about the Shepherd wedding last year. Serena obviously had no idea that Chuck knew. This made him laugh again. “What do you say we have dinner tonight? At my hotel. We can catch up there. No Blair, no Nate.”
”Sounds interesting, Chuck.” Serena said, faking enthusiasm. She’s really tempted to go with him tonight. But she still need to find her other two friends. She couldn’t blame Blair is she’s angry at her. Serena had ditched all of them without a word. “Maybe I’ll go with you. But I really, really need to talk to Blair first. During the time that I wasn’t here. Did she act or said like she was angry at me?” Serena asked carefully, awaiting his response.
“Blair never mentioned you, Serena. Well, not around me at least.” he shrugged. “We’ll find Blair and Nate later. Let’s just skip, okay? It’s not that big of a deal, Serena.” He grabbed her hand and started to pull her away from the school. “Look, my limos here and I don’t like to pass up the perfect offer to take a gorgeous girl out to breakfast.” he smiled at her and gestured to his limo. “We’re going.”
